Technology
We are a state-of-the-art dental practice – hi-tech,
filmless, fully-digital, and mercury-free. We believe it's
important to constantly keep up with the latest techniques
and the most advanced technology available today. This helps
us provide dentistry that is more efficient, more precise,
and more comfortable.
Digital Radiography (X-rays)
With digital radiography, we can take x-rays of your teeth
using up to 90% less radiation than with standard dental
x-ray film. We are then able to store your x-ray images on
our computer network and access them easier and faster than
ever before. Additionally, your images can now be sent electronically
to insurance companies, dramatically decreasing processing
time and resulting in faster claim payment.
Intraoral Cameras
One of the biggest advancements in the last 10 years in patient
education has been digital intraoral cameras. With an intraoral
camera, we can magnify your mouth, or a single tooth, and
show you exactly what we're talking about on a chair-side
video monitor. This is an excellent communication tool that
allows you to see for yourself the crack, the stain, the
gap, the receding gum line, or anything else in your mouth
that would normally be difficult to see with the naked eye.
You don't just have to take our word for it anymore.
Magnification Loupes (Surgical telescopes)
We often use a pair of high magnification
loupes, or glasses, to help us perform the most precise,
and accurate, dentistry possible.
